Henessey Venom GT Spyder is an aluminum chassis, carbon bodied machine with a 7.0 liter twin turbo aluminum block V-8 engine with a displacement of 7002 CC. It can reach a maximum speed of 273 mph (440 kph) which made a world record for the fastest two seat sport car. It can reach a speed of 0 to 60 mph(100 kph) in about 2.5 seconds. This was performed by Brian Smith , the director of Miller Sport, an experienced race driver and a former Michelin tire test engineer, at the Kennedy Space Center on a 3.2 mile runway.  As a Mechanic we are interested in the features of Henessey Venom GT Spyder.

This hyper-car is hand built and can stop at an rate at which it accelerates. This car contains Penske double-adjustable coil overs, a double A-arm suspension and a Brembo 6-piston aluminum calipers clamping. It also has carbon ceramic rotors at each corner. The mid-engine V8 is attached to the rear wheels with a six speed manual transmission . The power output is managed by a traction control program. During race track or on road an active aero system with a adjustable rear wing will deploy. The ride height can be adjusted up to 2.4 inches according to the driving conditions using a adjustable suspension system.
